Description
There are RailRoad tracks not in service at the intersection and causes a major traffic hazard on a daily bases!! The tracks are raised and paving is fallen below the actual metal rail tracks. Cars and commuters traveling to and from charlotte daily have to brake and almost stop to cross these or have there cars damaged. Whoever is responsible for the maintenance of these tracks needs to be made to fix this problem!! PLEASE HELP!!

Morgan Smith: The rail Road track you are referring to has been activated since Oct of 2011. Since then NCDOT has been updating the tracks in North Belmont and on thru to the tracks your talking about. Keep in mind, These track havnt been in service for over 20+ years. They've been pulling up old Rail Road Ties and replacing them with new ones and laying down new gravel to support it.
As for the tracks being a hazzard, I'v lived in North Belmont all my life and i've never seen or even heard of an accident happen because of those tracks.
