Public Works - MS (Parks) assigned this issue to Water - VF (Fresh Pond)

It's going on two months since this report.
There is a note on the water fountain saying "temporarily out of order, we're waiting for new parts". This is a simple water fountain, not a particularly complex machine, and it sits on property managed by the fricking water department, one of the most state-of-the-art water departments in the country. It is baffling that this is dragging on. Surely our creative engineers can come up with a way to get a simple stream of water, even if it is a temporary work-around while they wait for a new unit.

Fountain will be replumbed or replaced this spring
