Deskripsyon

The alleyway that runs in the rear of the 2800 block of East Broad St is in desperate need of resurfacing. Water does not drain and creates a dangerous and unsightly situation even during the lightest rains. See attached photo.

Your concern has been received and forwarded to the Department of Public Works (CRS# 20020904617) so that proper inspection and handling can take place accordingly. This team has had problems with equipment breakage in regards to motor graders that break and need repair and may have broken again and back in the shop. Also members of the Alley Team are engaged in leaf and/ or snow removal services right now. Regardless, please know the City of Richmond is endeared to addressing your alley repair needs as soon as possible and this case file is still under review and being continually monitored for servicing. Now tell me something... why is it that the city would take action about fixing an alley when it won't follow through fixing sidewalks people trip over every day... ones that I have been complaining to the city about the past 8 years!!!!???

Has the city's equipment been fixed yet? I doubt the team is still engaged in leaf and snow removal services over a year later and the issue has not been resolved.

Why has this issue not been addressed? This has been going on far too long. Does someone need to break a leg before this is repaired?
