We have inspected the tree and added it to our removal list. The tree should be removed in 6 to 8 weeks.
Once we receive the notice from Sunshine 811 that the utilities are marked, we will schedule the stump grinding.
After the stump is ground, we will schedule a claw truck to return and pick up the chips. We leave enough chips to level out the area that was ground. This will break down over time and grass will grow over the site. If you choose, you may remove the chips, fill the area with soil and re-sod at your expense. The city does not re-sod after stump grinding.
Sunshine 811 does not mark irrigation. If you have irrigation close the stump grinding area and it is damaged, you will need to have it repaired at your expense and then submit a claim with the City's Risk Management Department.
