Unrelated to this, I had a tree fall on my house on 6/30. I'll be having a lot of constructions vehicles coming and going. My home is already a "blind driveway". The over growth adds to the danger.

Hi… just an observation/comment. If the brush is short…as appears in the picture, why would you put yourself in danger when you could go out and cut it down yourself?? I am sure the town would appreciate your help‼️ Every spring, I do just that (I am a 62 yo woman). I don’t have to wait to have it done and my problem is solved before it gets out of hand. A large pair of snippers or a small chainsaw would do the trick nicely…..and keep you much safer.

That curve is incredibly dangerous! People speed down Canton St and around that corner. This is on a curve marked blind drive.(ours) We moved our mailbox from one side of our driveway to the other because I was trying to dig it out from the snow and a car coming around the corner hit the shovel out of my hands! The brush is not short. I can't see when I try to pull out with my car. NO I WILL NOT PUT MY LIFE AT RISK TO CUT IT MYSELF.

Understood. I hope they cut it soon. That is horrible that you are in such danger.

They should put a speed bump there. Slow down or hurt your car.

It's been 3 weeks, nothing has been resolved and the brush has grown even more. I really can't see to pull out of the driveway.

Could the City PLEASE send the brush cutter. It's too dangerous on that curve to attempt to cut it myself.

Your issue has been assigned to a DPW employee for inspection. Once the scope and extent of the issue is determined, it will be scheduled for maintenance or repair as needed.
