Yes, he is aware the buffer will need to be cleaned, and code allows the builder time to repair measures that fail due to over 2inches of rain in 24 hours as the silt fences are not designed to function for more than that. We had 3.3 inches in 24 hours. The small amount of silt in that area should not affect the vegetation. We will monitor it.
