This is very true. Cars cut through Wawa or the bank to get to Route 1 North.

I totally agree! To add to that, I almost got into an accident because I misinterpreted the lights, since the right-most left turn lane has the signal for traffic going straight directly above it. I actually had a red left turn signal (straight traffic had green), but missed it because of alignment of the lights over the lanes. I accept responsibility, but the placement of the lights makes them counter-intuitive. I've learned to concentrate and pay close attention while going through this intersection from this direction

Just went through that intersection. Three cars were in line to make the left turn on Rt 1. Traffic was backed up in the right lane past the entrance to the WaWa. One of the three cars waiting had to drive on the other side of the yellow lines to get up to the light to make his turn because of the traffic in the right lane.
