Thank you for taking the time to report this issue to Kitsap1, your request has been added to our data base but also realize we will not be able to make it to all sites and we may not make it to your site this year. Due to COVID19 staff must adopt new social distancing measures, and with limited resources reduce onsite services. Reduced staff will have to be limited in the work that can be accomplished. Per RCW 17.10 it is the landowners responsibility to keep plants from going to seed on your site and spreading to neighboring locations. In the past our office has assisted landowners to help you comply with the state statute. While we will still attempt to assist you in complying with control requirements our onsite control assistance will be reduced, but you will still need to work to comply with the law to keep your noxious weeds from spreading. Please keep in mind that the work that we have done in the past may not be fully accomplished moving forward, and all sites will have to be evaluated using our new criteria.
