Description
We live in the NW corner of Ray/Recker. They are working on making the street wider. I have noticed that if left the way the medians are currently set up, we will not be able to go left (north) out of our development. There is no break in the median for left turns. I have noticed the street to the north of us all have nice open areas for them to go either north or south out of their street. I hope this will be adressed and we will be able to go north out of our development.

The residents of Segretto located at the northwest corner of Recker and Ray will no longer be able to make left turns in or out of their development from Constitution Drive. The reason being is there was increase in the demand for left turns from southbound Recker Road onto east bound Ray Road. This increase in demand required the storage length for the left turn lane to be doubled. The original storage length was 150 lineal feet and new storage length will be 300 lineal feet. The storage for the left turn lane will begin at Constitution Drive and Recker Road and does not provide the proper distances to safely place a left turn pocket for vehicles heading north on Recker turning onto Constitution. The Town Traffic Engineer required the median to protect the traveling public, and prevent individuals from turning left from Recker Road onto Constitution.
Thank you,
