transferring to forestry

Why is this being transferred to Forestry when back in March, this same request, was taken care of almost immediately? And not by forestry?

forestry is the dept who took care of your request back in march. They will cut back the weeds again at this location for you.

Thanks but please have them uproot everything, not just trim because it will continue to grow back, and continue to warp my fence. Also, what is their turn around time?

Isn't this considered the easement, and therefore the homeowners responsibility?

Sure, I can see your point I suppose. But back when in March, when I put in the same request, I originally cared the city who told me yes it is their responsibility since it’s in the alley, not any of the homeowners who live off of said alley. So don’t worry, I made sure to make sure my request was valid! :) and also, when I put the same request in back in March, the city took care of it - quite quickly actually. Way faster than this request. Also yes I do see your point too if you want something done right, you’ve got to do it yourself. However, they get paid for this. I mean this is what this system is for right? For issues like this? So yeah if it’s not done correctly again, of course I will continue to put these requests in. No biggie! Thanks for your inputs. Does this alley affect with of your as well, or are you just scrolling through to comment your thoughts?

When I reported a huge dead tree with roots that broke through and raised the alley pavement, the city refused to deal with
It as it was on the easement. The trunk bordered the alley. I routinely moved large branches out of the alley for cars and trash trucks. Branches also chipped my wood fence. The city said they measured and it didn’t qualify. I’m guessing they measured from tue opposite end of the trunk. It’s a done deal now but don’t see why they took care of your issue and refused mine. Oh well. Hope they take care of yours.

Oh no that’s horrible! I’m sorry they refused to help you out. I am hopeful that since they already completed the request once they will do it again since obviously… they already did it once. I hope they give you the help you deserve in the future!
