On Aug 2, 2021 the COSP recycling truck driver entered the bend/turn in the street, then hit and ran over the traffic barricade while trying to avoid a landscaping vehicle parked on the other side of the street. Instead of blowing the horn to alert the landscaping crew to move their vehicle, the Recycling truck driver compensated by running over the traffic barricade and crushing it.
Just minutes later the COSP storm drain cleaning truck driver took the same decision making process and also ran over the traffic barricade.
Most of my neighbors have hired professional landscaping services. Until Mon, Aug 2, 2021, all of the COSP truck drivers (regular trash pickup, recycling pickup and storm drain cleaning) have blown their very loud horns to alert the landscapers to move their vehicles so that they could get through the street without causing any damage.
Even though the COSP driver's decisions in this instance were not highest and best, that is not my main concern. My main concern is to have the opening in the road, which continues to increase in size, properly repaired before curious neighborhood children are hurt and/or vehicles are damaged.

Reported about 2 months ago, this sink/ pothole issue has not been resolved and continues to be a hazard to our community . I have also noticed that the hole is getting bigger which increases the chance of vehicles getting damaged or worse someone getting hurt. Please respond and let us know when we can expect this repair. Thanks

The hole is much bigger now and poses a risk to children and vehicles. The barricade has now been struck again and is lying on the ground today. Please attend to this for the safety of the community.
