It has happened before and the speed issue on Cross is the culprit. Something has to be done. A truck recently ripped wires down and speed is always a concern. And since Cross St has no sidewalks so folks are forced to walk in the road this should be a high priority. Only time untill someone is hurt or worse.

It is like a drag strip since it is a straight shot from one end to the other ! The speed limit needs to monitored by police frequently, not just one or two times. If they give out enough speeding tickets people
might slow down.

We will monitor the area for speeders.

As for a barrier in front the house, we will conduct an analysis of crashes at that location and make the appropriate recommendation to the Town to reduce the possibility of similar crashes in the future.
