I'm getting the message that after five years I'm being ignored and there isn't going to be any resolve to this issue.

Fay, this is typical of Quincy, they won't fix streets properly or at all. They rather spend OUR tax money on downtown for the new luxury apartments and condos being built. The streets they are being built on are get done over and having trees planted. What about the rest of QUINCY!!!

Hi Fay, I will let DPW know to work on the paving in your area. Is it private or city streets?

I wrote a letter about Morrison Street (that's the name) but was told it was private.....and that it won't be paved. It's a very short street that connects Field Street to Southern Artery. Thanks for your interest.

I got an email from DPW, I would suggest to talk to your Ward City Councilor Margaret Laforest or Brad Croall directly: mlaforest@quincyma.gov or bcroall@quincyma.gov and also I would strongly advise you to speak directly to Mayor's Office at 617-376-1990 so that one of mayor's staff will hear from you with your concerns.

I will, Jim, but just to let you know, years ago I did contact my rep for Quincy (Mr. Kelly) and he actually drove down my street and said how horrible it was....that was as far as it got...

Apparently M. LaForest's email won't accept any email. I thing Croall's went through, though. I got an error message, User mailbox exceeds allowed size, each time I tried to email...
I did call the Mayor's office and they noted my concern. Thanks again.

Did the Mayor's office explain it would be private streets or anything particular issue?
