Someone is regularly dumping household trash on the curb across from 141 Syrek Street, in front of the concrete wall that runs along the river bank. The trash is frequently rotten, with maggots, and poses a health hazard for anyone walking along the road. My father, Harry Nicodemus, is the owner of the property directly across the street from where the trash is being dumped, and he has been picking up the trash and placing it in his own city trash container, but sometimes there are 2-3 bags per week out there, which takes up a good part of the trash container he is supposed to be using for his own trash. The illegal trash is also rotten and full of maggots sometimes, so he also has to rinse out and sanitize his trash container. My father went to the DPW office about 2 weeks ago, and told the office staff there about his complaint. He was told that someone would contact him, but so far no one has. I need someone to respond to my father and let him know what can be done to deter this person from dumping his/her household trash on our street.
