Where is the registration tag put on a sign? I'm just curious

Gil--I usually see them on one side of the lower horizontal frame. (But I don't see them within the Marketplace District--I think they aren't required there or fall under a different oversight system.)

Are advertising signs like this (not political, construction, or real estate, etc.) permitted by code on private property in Burlington?
