Description
More noisy tenants moved in this weekend and wasted no time fitting right in with the fellow tenants in the dwelling. They have been sitting on the stoop day and night blasting music. Calls to police non-emergency number over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again, go unanswered OR we're directed to Residents Response and so here we go in circles AGAIN. Response from Nida (last month) before last complaint was archived:
"This complaint was forwarded to the West District Captain and Community Relations officer. Please be advised any noise complaint needs to be called in to the police non-emergency number at (201)547-5477 at the time that the issue occurs. Thank you."

Why must one call in to the police non-emergency number? So that the police may or may not drive past, flicker lights and keep it moving? Are these complaints being logged in some manner? Is the owner/landlord being fined? I mean, just curious about what is supposed to happen...
Because it all seems like wasted effort since everyone passes the buck and not a thing is done.
