Check out Tennessee, SE, just south of Central. Check out Zuni from Wyoming to San Pedro, SE. The homeless are allowed to put up tents and have shopping carts all over that area. I wonder what the reaction would be if these tents and carts were to take up residence in the far northeast heights or in the mayor's and city councelors neighborhood. Would something get done then? We continue to throw money at the problem, just like APS, but nothing changes. The change we need is in our elected officials. We keep electing the same people and expect to see change.

Why do they refer these cases of homeless, trash and needles to the Planning Dept? I guess I don't understand how the Planning Dept is going to move them. I have had this same issue, called the Planning Dept twice, no one ever answers, left messages and never got a call back. Steve: If the tent city is still there, please keep reopening this case.
