The issue exists rom Cabot Drive to Willoughby Drive on Old Stage Rd along the ​"sidewalk" which is built out of pavement which has deteriorated. The ground is uneven and dangerous, especially in wintry conditions as the TOE sidewalk snow plow is challenged in being effective. Please consider updating the ticket to reflect the location of this issue extending beyond the Q/A section's described location.

This sidewalk/walkway is uneven, in disrepair, and a serious tripping hazard to the numerous pedestrians and bicyclists who use it. Please repair this before someone is seriously injured.

I am a runner and there really is only room for one person to walk on that sidewalk. Especially with covid, I’ve wanted to keep my distance. That means I have to run on the road which can be very unsafe with distracted drivers and speeders. Please consider fixing it soon so no one gets seriously injured trying to walk/run there.

We are working on a plan to repair this section of path. Unfortunately, due to other sidewalk concerns this section will be on our list to be repaired next year. The primary focus will be from Cabot Drive to the Essex Alliance church as a first phase of this project. We will keep you posted. Thank you

The entire stretch from Cabot all the way down to Willoughby has numerous safety issues, clearly identified by a number of residents above, a liability to us all and the town (god forbid something bad were to happen to anyone). These two stretches of "sidewalk" are super dangerous for everyone and pose additional unnecessary risks for our children, the elderly, disabled, runners, bikers, pet owners and motor vehicles. This is a high traffic corridor off Route 15, serving numerous neighborhoods all the way to Rural Essex, and is impacted by the traffic to and from Indian Brook and the church. Please help prioritize this entire need as both sections are serious liabilities and need immediate attention. Thank you for not only hearing us but also resolving these issues.
