the asphalt that surrounds Purple Heart Park is used both for the parking lots and for the walking paths that surround the park. although there is much life left in this asphalt I believe it needs to be cared for by fixing cracks and having the debris that is loose blown away off of the asphalt in the parking lots and the walking paths. in addition I believe that filling cracks will go a long way. after the debris has been blown and cleaned off I believe the asphalt should be resealed with a sealer in the parking lots and the walking paths. this would go a long way in keeping the asphalt for having a long life. The parking lot needs to be restriped for parking and also ADA compliant spaces.
doing this projects will reduce the cost of having to replace all of it at an earlier time in the future.
Plus having no white lines in the parking lots people don't quite know where to park. in addition all the loose debris gets to be hard as some people slip on such areas. I would be willing to meet anyone who wishes to discuss it. I can be reached at 520-444-2342.
