Description
On June 25-26, our home received 3 feet of water in the basement following heavy rains that flooded our entire neighborhood on Detroit's east side. The flooding destroyed items in our basement family room, laundry room and storage rooms, including 300 square feet of carpet, a large sectional, chairs, tables, entertainment equipment, dehumidifiers, fridge, baseboard heating, 6 walls of drywall, appliances, etc.
