I am EXTREMELY disappointed that I was not even contacted regarding this situation and now a year later they are just “closing” the complaint with the false reasoning…stating “it had been addressed”.

It has NOT been addressed and my family has not recovered from the extensive loss suffered due to the negligence and resulting lack of accountability of the Detroit Water and Sewer Department.

We not only lost the majority of our possessions but we also lost our ability to provide for ourselves as our tools and equipment for our small business were housed in the basement. I ran out of storage trying to document all of the things we lost and we weren’t even afforded the civility of an apology for what we endured.

Shame on you!
