I met with OKTEX a sub for AT&T on site 8/26/21. I was told that there is a shortage on the cable due to COVID. Below in quotations is AT&T's response
"The fiber that is used is made by Corning. Like most companies COVID has taken its toll on production of this fiber. I do know today it’s coming in faster but it is still delayed. To help speed this process Corning has hired every freight company in the area to deliver this fiber. We receive anywhere from 4 to 10 reels a day. In short yes we have had issues but it’s gotten better ." I will ask AT&T when this area is scheduled. Thank you for your patience.

AT&T just got back with me. Below is their response in quotes. "I just checked the progress for that location. I am still waiting on 4 fiber pieces that total 15k ft. All of the pipe for that job is placed, so when those 4 pieces once here will be placed quickly. I do not have a hard date because of the delay in this fiber, but it will be on the top of the list." AT&T.

Just to clarify, that they will be repairing the work areas damaged appropriately? They had to set up and dig at several points on the property. Those areas are now dirt / weed patches due to them not coming back and seeding or replacing the grass that was damaged. I have more photos but will only let me upload one per comment.

'1.07 DAMAGE TO PREMISES.
The Contractor shall be responsible for the repair or replacement of any public or private
property which is damaged by the Contractor's operations and which is not shown on the
Drawings to be removed.'

'1.08 CLEAN-UP.
A. Construction Requirements. Clean-Up is considered an integral part of the work. As the
work progresses, the working area shall be kept clean of trash, debris, and junk, and promptly
restored to a condition equal to or better than that prevailing before construction.'

I would like to follow up on this to see if there is any updates? Is there anyway they can come seed the yard in the areas work is no longer needed? It has been 2 months since I put this request in. Is there a contact number at AT&T I can call?

The subcontractor has not restored the corner to a "equal or better condition" there is no grass seed, or sod replaced where they dug up on the property. There are a total of 4 locations they caused damage to the yard and was told will "seed" to restore. The city had just put brand new sod in 2 years ago when they redid the stop lights. I would appreciate if the city followed up on when they will complete 100% of the work.
