I'll vote for this too, although I don't know if it'll happen; there's already a stop sign at W Belair & whoever decides this might think it's too close to have another stop sign. I certainly have been surprised a few times at how quickly drivers get back up to speeding after they've stopped at Belair (assuming they come to a complete stop there).
I was actually referred to when you exit Nicholson to make the right onto Crum Lynne. There is no stop sign there! We've only moved here recently and it throws me for a loop when I am turning there. I don't understand why there isn't a stop sign, to prevent crashing into cars coming down Crum Lynne.
In PA, the law is that when a street dead-ends at an intersection, drivers are supposed to stop. You'll see that there is no stop sign at a lot of "T" intersections like that one. I don't know how many drivers are aware of that, and I think it's time PA stopped cheaping out & just put signs there anyway, but that's the reason there isn't one; you're supposed to know to stop.
There should be a stop sign at the end of Nicholson road at Cruml Lynne road. The people that drive along there are different now than 50 years ago when I use to skate board on Nicholson Rd.The drivers speed to much today.
How many accidents have there been there? None in my recent memory. I live in the neighborhood and drive there regularly. I've never even had a close call there. I'm not really sure what problem this would "fix" then.
There was an accident a few years back and one car ended up on a front lawn. What is someone was walking by as this occurred? Do we have to wait until there is a serious accident or injury to resolve this problem. Cars speed up and down this street daily and nothing is done about it.
