At 3:30pm on Monday, Sept. 1, a dark blue pickup truck from the Yale "GM Department," Connecticut license plate 5CR 839, decided to drive halfway through the red light and wait in the crosswalk for no apparent reason other than that stopping properly behind the white line would have been too much of an imposition on the driver's valuable time.
