Description
Peregrine Court is a narrow street and therefore has no parking on it accept in the cul-de-sac at the end. There are some no parking tow away zone signs on the street, but people just seem to ignore them and park on the street anyway. This can be very difficult for people to drive on the street safely. They are forced to drive on one side of the road instead of the middle. Sometimes there are so many cars illegally parked one has to zig zag to get from one end to another, not to mention illegally parked cars on the street make it difficult for drivers to get their vehicles out of their driveways safely. Is there a way to get more no parking signs installed, particularly can one be strapped to the light poles between 6212-6214, and 6222-6224. Also can one be installed on the corner in front of 6221, that is a real problem spot. If someone makes that turn around the illegally parked car they risk hitting a vehicle coming from the opposite direction head on. Also there are quite a few cars parked in their owners respective driveways that block the sidewalks. Some vehicles even spill out into the street. This also makes it difficult for drivers to safely get out of their driveways. Can some no blocking the sidewalks signs be installed as well.

Thanks for contacting our office with your concern in regard on street parking on Peregrine Ct. Location is investigated and verified that signs that were installed in the past are still exiting intact. The distance or gap between the signs is less than 100ft. There is no a visibility issue. If more signs added just it will be a clutter of signs an eye sore to see. But, for people who violating the City’s parking ordinance please contact OPD Parking Enforcement 407-246-2906 and Code Enforcement Division 407-246-2686.
