Thank you for your email. All service requests are processed on a daily basis. It is our goal to repair streetlights within 7 - 14 business days. Based on the complexity of certain problems, repairs could take longer than usual.

Please be advised that the City of San Jose is experiencing a high number of copper wire thefts which affects our streetlights. If the lights you are reporting are out due to stolen copper wire, the lights/area will be placed on the list for repair.

Thank you for your email. The light you have identified is a City of San Jose Park light. All park lights are maintained by The Department of Public Works. A copy of your email has been forwarded to Public Works on your behalf. It is Public Works’ goal to have the service requests repaired within 21 days of reporting, however more complex problems can take longer for repair. If you have any questions, please contact Public Works at 408-975-7277 between the hours of 8am and 4pm, Monday thru Friday.
