Why is there no sidewalk on Rankin Avenue at the corner of South Lake Avenue? The first home on Rankin removed the sidewalk, forcing people into the street on an intersection where drivers quickly turn off of South Lake. I have nearly been hit while walking with my family on numerous occasions. Why has the city allowed for the sidewalk to be ripped out and grass planted? Are we all permitted to rip the sidewalks up in front of our homes and extend our yards to the street?
