City of Corona assigned this issue to Corona Police Department

My experience when reporting “abandoned “ vehicles has been once I report it to the police, they show within 24 hours, mark it, then move forward as appropriate. Dilapidated vehicles are towed quickly.

Please be advised, a California law was changed in 2019 and created an additional rule for police to remove vehicles, Assembly Bill 2876. This Bill does not allow for the towing/removal of vehicles off public city streets without a Community Care Taking need present. Thank you again for reporting on SEE CLICK FIX. Parking Enforcement responded on 9/23/21 and found the listed vehicle. The vehicle is not a reported stolen and does show to be registered to the area. He did not find a community caretaking to legally remove it from the public city street. He returned today to check on movement and the vehicle had moved. The owner was warned reference parking longer than 72 hours. We appreciate your assistance in keeping our streets and city safe.
