I spoke to Mmk Town office recently about shrubbery leaning over the sidewalk on Weaver Street across from Ferndale Center - kids and other pedestrians are walking on the road because the bushes lean so far over the sidewalk two people can't walk abreast. Several near misses observed as it's kind of a blind corner in either direction. The office told me it's the homeowners problem - the people who live on the hill behind, but I'm sure they don't even know they are responsible for maintaining that strip! Someone took the info and said 'code enforcement' would talk to the homeowners but that was nearly a month ago, and the pedestrians are still at risk.
