because the entrances exist when you go over the bridge on rt 130 the entrance is to the right of it....

What I am referring to is the ridiculous route you have to take to get to 130 in order to get to 1 north from the Barnes & Noble lot. It is a terrible design.

when you are in the Barnes & Noble lot, how are you to know you will have to go out the back of the lot behind the building on some side street to hopefully find rt 1 north. If you head south on 1 there is no U turn for some time either. This is a terrible design.

Because the mall was in existence long before the changes were made to the Route 1-130 interchange. Before the flyover ramps, those who are long-time residents will remember the Rt. 1 Circle with the traffic light on Rt. 1. Frankly, the State has never really come to grips with the fact that a setup similar to the ones by Quakerbridge AND Menlo Park are needed around each of the mall areas along Rt. 1.
