Description

The traffic lights at the intersection of Hammond Pond Pkway and Heath are dangerously designed/programmed. Drivers who are northbound on HPP get a green light before the southbound drivers do--presumably to permit left-hand turns onto Heath. However there is no left-turn arrow on the light fixture and IT IS NOT APPARENT to northbound drivers when the southbound light turns green. I am new to the area and I have already witnessed SEVERAL close calls due to this incredibly poorly thought-out traffic pattern!
