There were signs placed at two of the crosswalks on this section of Dresden advising motorists that they are required by State Law to stop for pedestrians in crosswalks. Motorists driving over them has led to their disappearance. Can we have them back, please?

We are in the process of adding additional pedestrian signage in this area of Dresden, including an in pavement "State Law - Stop for Pedestrians in Crosswalk" sign. These can not be put at every unsignalized crosswalk however because of the configuration of the intersecting roads. Turning vehicles to/from these roads, particularly sanitation trucks and school buses, will knock these signs down. The additional signage should be installed in the next 2 weeks.
Thanks

That area also needs better lighting. At night it can be nearly impossible to see pedestrians are waiting to cross.
I guess Dresden is too narrow for a median - maybe a Chamblee-style crosswalk(s).
