Hello neighbor, I too have tried many times to get something done about all these old and broken down vehicles on our street. I’m glad someone else is trying. So far I have not had any luck I hope you have better luck at this time

I would like to add that these cars are obstructing street repair/maintenance (street sweeping every Tuesday) and are vulnerable to vandalism and theft.

The at least one or two belong to the home across from them. They have been approached and feel that they own the street.

The City has advised that the residents have to be in 100% agreement to put up signs for no parking on street sweeping days. The owner of these vehicles will not agree and have expressed a vindictiveness towards other neighbors and that they would retaliate for certain things they didn’t like.

Omg they would retaliate??? Is this really happening!?

I just feel that if you have a car that is not working or non op it’s common courtesy or would be nice and appreciated if they placed it in their driveway the place that is legally theirs not the street. The street is meant for public parking and for those coming and going.

More importantly just move it for street sweeping. The street is so dirty on that side.
