If the tree wasn’t across the street from my neighbor’s house or not close to two streets, I would love do it to become a shelter for wildlife, but it presents a danger. There is another tree across Central Parkway which is also dead, and if it fell it would take out power, cable, phone & Verizon Fios lines with it.
Trees fall all the time. In the Hunt Woods that’s fine, but when it will cause damage, it needs to come down.
Debris still not removed. The Hunt Woods is NOT a dumping ground for DPW downed tree disposal. I see this pile of logs and debris multiple times a day, and it is an eyesore.
Debris HAS STILL NOT BEEN REMOVED. I was touring the neighborhood a good friend who was looking for a house, but she noticed the wood piles and was turned off. Want more taxes for Mt Vernon residents? CLEAN THIS MESS UP!
