I agree with you, the lack of response to this issue is concerning. I’ve spent the last 2 days cleaning and pumping water from basement for something that could have been preventable if our street had the proper drainage. Hope this gets resolved in a timely manner as I cant fathom repeating this again. We have lost wages from work,belongings including a vehicle that was totaled due to water damages and most importantly our time and energy. So far we haven’t heard from the city or anyone concerning this issue!!

Reach out to your ward councilor. He might be able to assist. He's one of a few ward councilors in our city that actually engage and "get it done"

He’s very active in your ward and makes a difference. Believe me when I say Ward 5 is jealous of your representation.

I called his phone yesterday. No word back as of yet- not much to be jealous of.

Also called the town rep for MEMA and nothing back from him either. I can’t believe the town hasn’t sent anyone down to check on us after the fire and police came. We had one DPW person come down after the fire and police arrived. That’s it.

I’d prefer a visit from you as opposed to the DPW. I’d like someone “on our side” to talk to us, see what we’re dealing with and have facts to talk to the DPW management. We’ve called them- they know what the issue is and told us what caused this flooding and it didn’t rain 3’ on only our street overnight.

I prefer to do house calls vs phone calls myself. I have already emailed the person who manages the sewer system to see if he can meet me there Friday. I’ve been working on the same issue on another street now for a few months. Getting the same story you are. I’ll let you know when he responds. Either way I’ll be out there Friday.

Why would Tighe and Bond REMOVE drains from a street that has suffered front his overflowing drainage pond in the past? Who’s the engineering genius?
