Description
Vector Control needed for dead deer,RIP last night - 5-30-2014 - flies on the remains...children playing in vicinity...
My question is how long will it take for this to be picked up in Montclair?
I ask because when we had a dead dog near our shop in East Oakland, it took about a month and a lot of pressure to get that handled (plus the toxic chemicals and other goodies)

I will pose this issue to Montclair DISC - we can ask the extended community their experience with vector control - we understand priorities are on live animals first, but I am concerned that children play in this vicinity.
BTW Jay: the City will never respond to your questions here - we have concluded that their rules for whatever reason forbid them from communicating with citizens, which we feel is an egregious error that hopefully will be corrected operation in the future.
Hopefully it will not take a month as it did near our frame shop in East Oakland (we named the street Dead Dog Lane in exasperation - just drove by there an hour ago- there is mound of debris would fill 4 vans++shocking)

Jay - that is not what I meant/said.
What I said is that the City will not respond HERE to your questions such as "when will this dead animal be picked up?".
They will advise you when an issue has been closed according to their protocols. If they failed to do it, you can reopen the issuer. They will acknowledge that they are aware of it, which means they are scheduling it for work. The City unfortunately will not provide the schedule or interactive two-way communication in this forum or offer guidance and advise.
We have not found ANY other method as effective as SCF to resolve matters of this type.
