Or better yet - time the lights at the exit ramps so that the traffic from Crocker and Harper don't hit the I-94 exit traffic at precisely the same time.
I have been driving down 16 after catching the red light at Harper, and as soon as you get to the exit ramp from westbound I-94 their light turns green and here they come!!! Same with the light at Crocker, you start down 16 and boom- the light at east 94 turns green and they cut across and try to merge onto westbound 16. Delay the green lights at the exit ramps by one minute and 16 mile traffic will have cleared and no one will be cutting folks off or hitting each other and the merge for them will be much smoother. MCRC- you couldnt have planned it better to have two flows of traffic hit the same spot at exactly the same time - come out and watch - its almost comical.

No problems. Drivers just need to pay attention

I don't see a problem with this...but leave the issue open. Just because you don't have a problem with it means it should be closed...others may have issues...

When the light is red, there is seldom any traffic. When light turns green, all the heavy traffic is coming. Merging into 55 mph traffic is very dangerous, especially for people not familiar with this exit ramp, which is a lot of people,They don't know what to do. Especially making a left turn onto 16 mile heading east.

This is a real problem! It needs to be addressed and signs put in place before a life is ended or someone becomes disabled.
