Good to see that anyone can strike down small business owners with a complaint. Think about how your actions effect others, especially when the "rest stop" might have meant a family's livelihood. Thanks America, land of the anonymous internet cowards.

Very unfortunate that two small businesses are going to lose out on an issue that nobody is harmed or affected by.

What harm does a hot dog truck do for a few hours a day? And seriously, if you are going to complain and cost someone their livelihood at least have the courage to show your name. No credence should be given to anonymous posters. I think Millsie's is great addition to the area. They are a small mom and pop operation and are just a couple nice people trying to make a living.

I hate anonymous complaints. If you have something legitimate to say, sign your name. Very sorry to see this happening. And, from the looks of things, the issue keeps getting pushed to another department which means these folks might be caught in a governmental nightmare. It is getting harder and harder for taxpayers in CT to make a living and pay taxes! Perhaps a special exception can be made while a zone change is looked into. These folks make their livelihood from these seasonal businesses. Please don't shut them down now and deprive them of making a living. Thank you. Peggy Budny

It is not a bulletin board for complaints, per se, but a tool for us to use to gather issues that we can research and take action on. As such, we greatly appreciate when people use the site in a respectful, non-judgmental way to pose sincere, non-rhetorical questions or to make us aware about an issue that we may be able to help resolve. To the Zoning Dept. of Windsor: The hot dog truck is not doing any harm to the location at Brown's and is certainly not transforming the area to a "rest stop". I hope your investigation results in allowing the hot dog truck to stay. There is absolutely no negative effect on the property at Brown's and gives workers in the area a chance to have a great lunch in a friendly atmosphere.
