It does not matter what direction they are going in either. The speeding happens constantly. Stoplights are completely ignored about half the time. Even if I wait for the right-of-way walk signal, cars come flying through, oblivious that they need to stop. I agree that we need the "stop for pedestrian" signs, but there needs to be more than that, like enforcement by the police and signs before the curves that motorists carelessly speed around. I would like to see the roads narrowed and have speed bumps added. There is no reason for this to be treated as a highway.

Agreed! Traffic on this circle is at unacceptable speeds, and most cars roll through the three stop signs on Hudson, Wells and Elm as if they were optional, disregarding any pedestrians already in the crosswalk. The traffic coming off of Whitehead Highway should be slowed and should yield to the slower traffic already in the circle, not the other way around as is currently the status. In fact, a stoplight for the traffic coming off the highway (just as there are at the other exits at Columbus and Prospect) would be a great improvement.
