That should read speed "limit". Children are going to cross the streets in any neighbor; it's the drivers that are going too fast.

I am sure by not we have found the responsible parents and cited them for being stupid and letting kids just run across the street. Not sure what you are asking to have the City due to fix this problem. These are both busy roads that people should know is dangerous to cross.

Alpha, Please stop undermining this site. It works. It is needed. Think of the children and stop trying to force your will onto others. Leave tis open until the kids and parents correct the issue.

Again what are you telling the City they need to do to fix the problem. Do they need to have meetings with each individual, maybe meeting with all the parents, forget SOLs in school and teach kids the street smarts, start arresting parents and calling it child neglect for allowing kids to cross the street, arresting the kids. What are you asking the City to do. I am sure the parents and the kids are not monitoring this site. What is it the CITY is going to do to fix this problem.

I am in total agrement with you. Why would someone want to close all the postings if they have yet to be adressed by the city? It makes no sense and is counterproductive to the site's vision and purpose.
