Per the Street/Storm Maintenance Division, "we are obligated to make improvements. In this area, we can come into complete compliance; therefore we are improving the sidewalk."

I'm sorry, what is in compliance? The cross slopes on most of the drivepad approaches exceeds 2%.

The City made improvements to the sidewalk pathway that improved what was existing. We decreased the steep slopes and made them more gradual for someone using the pathway.

I only want to re-open this long enough to state that, yes, it is an improvement over what was existing, but it still exceeds ADA requirements for cross slope. This is apparent just by looking at it. I can only assume that you did not have adequate Right-of-Way to make ADA compliant drivepad transitions. Thank you anyway.
