This site had been added to the Fall 2021 Tree Planting list. The city then erroneously filled the site with asphalt. There had previously been a tree at this site so there is plenty of room to plant a tree. Please remove the asphalt, which was temporary, and plant tree. Thank you.

Can we have an update? Asphalt needs to be removed and replaced with concrete on half of the area, and a tree planted (as a tree had previously been planted) on the remaining half.

There is not enough room on the left where there is currently an asphalt patch. A white painted "T" is on the right, where a new tree could be planted. Please update here or contact the tree warden at atuden@medford-ma.gov as soon as possible if you would still like to have a new tree planted. Thank you.

There had previously been a tree - the city removed the roots and erroneously covered with Asphalt when it was supposed to replace the tree. Please replace the tree as originally intended. Remove the erroneous asphalt patch, re-plant tree; use concrete to fill excess space. The asphalt patch was a mistake in the first place - you can see in various other SeeClickFix requests the city was supposed to replace the tree - NOT completely cover with asphalt.
