The canal areas are all private property that's owned by SRP so you'll more than likely need to contact them to get these lights replaced. We have, however, forwarded this to our Code Compliance team. They'll be able to determine if there's any action that the Town can take on this.

Hi, the lighting there is still out. SRP’s website says for lighting issues to contact your local government and fill out an online report. Also wondering if whomever owns that shopping plaza would be responsible as that runs in a small area behind the Regal theaters and other businesses there.

The SRP website has different contact points listed depending on who is the owner of the light fixture (https://www.srpnet.com/customer-service/report-broken-street-light ). In this case, lights along the canal pathway are property of SRP so the Gilbert 311 online report wouldn't be the right one to use. You'll need to use the SRP online request tool to have this fixed. The Town of Gilbert can't take action on private property so there's nothing we're able to do to resolve this request.

Closed. The Town is not able to service requests on private property. The SRP canal path is the property of SRP.
