Description
Okay, Lansing and/or Lansing Township. It is time to paint some lines on Sellers Ave and Vine between Howard and Clippert. The number of drivers going the wrong way on these one-ways is getting dangerous, and the lack of a dedicated right turn lane at Sellers and Homer is apparently too confusing for the majority of drivers in this area. I don't see how this could take a small crew more than half a day to fix, so let's get on it, shall we?

Sellers was striped as two lanes (as opposed to three) to make it line up better at Clippert and because the volume of right turns at Homer does not justify a turn lane. As the intersections at Homer and Howard are also under the jurisdiction of the Michigan Department of Transportation, any change in lane use at these intersections would need MDOT approval. The long term plan for both Vine and Sellers is to convert them to two way operation, however, there are a number of issues to work out prior to moving forward on this.
