Inspected the light from the alley. The style of light does shine openly. Following the inspection, I made an attempt to speak with resident but no answer at door. Once I returned to office, I left a voice mail message requesting a return phone call. My goal is to work with resident in hope to come up with a resolution, like adding a shade to regulate direction of light and not impact neighbors.

Spoke with home owner. She is contacting her electrician to replace the light with a less bright option. Electrician will make adjustment within 2 weeks.

Visited with home owner. Electrician who installed light verified he will place shield which was manufactured by neighbor, above light.

Electrician adjusted the light to lower the brightness to an acceptable level.
