27 tents set up in the park with people living 24/7. ( between Leland and Montrose). What is the department of Family Services doing to relocate out of the park ? What is the Chicago Department of Health doing to protect the heath of residents of the neighborhood as well as the tent city people? What is the Chicago Park District doing to evict illegal campers? What are the police doing about illegal drinking and drug use by the illegal camp tenants? ? The answer is nothing. None of these city agencies are doing anything. Letters to all of these agencies as well as to the mayor receive no answer. The situation is beyond out of control. Will it take another pandemic to bring attention to this "perfect storm" of potential for infection?
