Frequently see cars going well over 35 after they clear the hump (if they even slow for the speed hump) often people have to jump back and have seen 2 car accidents from speeding at these intersections

Even if we got a crosswalk to cross Booraem, it would be a solid improvement.

I’ve frequently seen many cars speeding here — even the city parking enforcement and other city vehicles— and almost hit me and my dog when we were crossing the street in the morning. A stop sign would be a great safety improvement!!

Sadly, Gigi the cat was run over and killed here this past weekend. This request was open a year ago.. and this could have been avoided. nothing has been done no update from the city. If it takes three months how is there nothing over a year and 3 months later? AndrewV and JenniferC should be held accountable for any deaths and accidents for pedestrians and animals alike. Unfortunately, there is not going to be a simple solution to enhance safety at this location. It is likely that an all-way stop configuration would not be warranted based on engineering standards due to the low traffic volumes. Generally, stop signs are traffic control devices, not speed control devices.

Crosswalks will be challenging to install without impacting (i.e. removing) the trees at the intersection.
