This request is regarding the corner of Terhune Road and Turner Court and we (homeowners at 8 Turner) have requested this in the past. It is curious that the existing curb cuts are being REBUILT at the corner of Jefferson and Terhune, but the town cannot INSTALL curb cuts at this intersection. The Turner Court side of Terhune has the continuous sidewalk from Mount Lucas to Jefferson. One would think that someone would want to address this.
Thank you for submitting your request; your issue is being reviewed. Princeton is aware of this issue at Terhune / Turner. It is a part of the sidewalk repair project and / or the Terhune Road grant project.
Are there any updates on this issue? Not only do we not have curb cuts, but the existing sidewalk has dropped below the level of the curb on the 8 Turner side of the intersection, making the curbing effectively a low wall affecting pedestrians going both ways. Seriously, this needs to be addressed sooner rather than later. The shape of the curb here is going to cause an injury some day.
