The city trash can is still in the front yard of 3149 Walmsley, in plain sight. If you check the status of the utilities being paid at 3200 walmsley blvd you will find they are most likely shut off because the house is empty and boarded up but on trash day (usually Fridays depending on Holidays) there will be a trash can sitting beside the house to be emptied. That is the same trash can that sits under the tree in the yard of 3149 walmsley blvd. It is very difficult for there to be trash at a home that is boarded up, you would think the people that pick up the trash would notice but just like most other places they feel it's not in their job description . I know this will take a little more effort to resolve, but with the city being in such economic straights this is money being stolen from the city. The Mayor may enjoy this story, 3200 Walmsley has been empty or at least 3 months and 3149 Walmsley has been getting free trash service for that period of time.
