There is an orange tabby that tends to come to my backyard. He/she came a few days ago and I noticed fur missing on one of the back sides, as if it had been shaved. Fluffy big tail, growling to another outdoor cat. My house is on Lawrence, backyard towards Cottage. I'll keep an eye and will let you know if I see this particular cat again.

The tabby you "Lawrence (Guest)" referred to in your comment is a different cat whose name is Candide (nickname Findus). I am his owner and live on Cottage Street. We have a cat door towards the garden. Candide eats, sleeps and spends a lot of time with us inside the house and goes outdoors multiple times a day. Some fur is missing on his right back side since the veterinary had to shave some spots to treat an abscess.

Otis is usually friendly and likes people, but I am guessing he may be spooked if out of his territory. Thanks for looking.

Hi, I saw Otis the other day he was between our back porch and the apartment house on Bishop Street. I see him often, I think he really likes our back yard, we have a bird feeder, and an old cat as well, You are most welcome to come to our back yard, Susan 203-314-4144

i see this cat all the time on bishop street. always between the two larger brick apartment buildings. not sure if he is still missing, but i just got home and i did not see him tonight

Susan, thanks. Where do you live? I could look in your back yard tomorrow. BishopSt resident, as of 6/16 he is still missing. He always comes home multiple times per day and usually sleeps inside if we time it correctly. Please let me know if he is seen. I am worried he hid from the rain and got trapped somewhere.

Hi Neighbor, Just walk around the block, and come up to 204 Bishop St, walk up the driveway, its easier, sit on the back porch and call for Otis, whistle or do whatever, The small back porch has some bricks that help keep some animals out. but by all means feel welcome. Sadly no. A caretaker of an office building on Bishop and Whitney (our block) found a deceased cat with a dark blue collar that he buried. He is 99% sure it was Otis. Have you seen a similar cat recently?

Oh, I'm so very sorry. I haven't seen any similar cats, but have been keeping my eye out in case Otis turned up over here.
